The "Where Is It?" development project ("we," "our," or "the Project") sets out this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information of users of the app "Where Is It?" ("the App"). Please read this policy carefully before using the App.

Providing the App's services (inventory management, shopping list, recipe management, family sharing)
Sharing data and real-time sync within a family group
User identification, authentication, and account management
Improving app quality and investigating/resolving issues
Responding to user inquiries

We will not use your information for any purpose other than those listed above.

🔒 Article 3 — Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not provide your personal information to third parties except in the following cases.

When you have given your explicit consent
When disclosure is required by law

The App uses Firebase, provided by Google LLC, as its infrastructure. Data is stored on Firebase servers. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on Google's data practices.

The App uses the following third-party services. Please review each service's privacy policy as well.

Firebase (Google LLC) — Database, authentication, and hosting
Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc.) — Apple ID login authentication
Sign in with Google (Google LLC) — Google account login authentication
Web Speech API (browser standard) — Voice-to-text conversion

🛡️ Article 5 — Security

We take appropriate measures to manage your personal information and protect it against unauthorized access, loss, leakage, and alteration.

Data in the App is protected by Firebase security rules and is designed to be accessible only by members of the same family group.

👤 Article 6 — Your Rights

You may perform the following actions at any time.

Delete your data: All registered data and your account can be deleted via Settings → Account → "Delete Account" within the App.
View and edit your information: You can view and edit your data directly within the App.
Contact us: For requests regarding the handling of personal information, please use the contact information below.

If you delete your account and you are the last member of a family group, all data belonging to that family group will also be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

👶 Article 7 — Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a child under 13 uses the App, parental supervision is required.

📝 Article 8 — Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as necessary. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date on this page. For significant changes, we will notify users within the App.

⚠️ Article 9 — Disclaimer

Please note the following limitations before using the App.

The App is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee complete data preservation, continuous availability, or recovery from failures. We shall not be held liable for any loss or corruption of data resulting from server failures, communication errors, force majeure, or other causes.
We do not provide individual data restoration, investigation, or personal support of any kind. Data backup is the sole responsibility of each user. The App does not include a built-in backup feature.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the App, whether direct or indirect.

⚠️ This App is operated by an independent development project, not a corporation. As a result, we are unable to provide the level of data management infrastructure (such as individual account lookup, data repair, or dedicated support) that may be expected of a commercial service. We appreciate your understanding.
